Optimize the 404 Template

Update the sitemap template.
    After the end of the loop, add the divs. The page template has the content post div width adjust based on if there is a side bar. With the sitemap we have this as well but the sitemap displays below this content div, so its 100% width regardless of if there is a sidebar.
    Update the post sitemap, the query should just replicate the page sitemap, except the 'post_type' is just 'post'. No need to define a variable as a query since query_posts function already exists."

Would be great to have the functionality to add more Content Sections to the homepage to avoid fewer attempts at hacking the template or re-structuring CSS to get extra content sections. This is currently a constraint when mimicking sites that are flips. - Partially solved by the additional CSS template added with this version

Add Multiple Cities & Phone numbers to the header

##############
Added Features:
##############

Centered the areas served in the header at smaller screen sizes

Added EWS Theme shortcode buttons to the text and wysiwyg editor

Added additional CSS template with animated full width sections

Added JS animation to a class="animation-element" which is used in the new CSS template along with class="slide-left" and class="slide-right"

NEW new alert

The Search functionality in our theme is broken (its not submitting a query to the search query get_search_query filter) and the search results page is not inside the content divs. Update the search.php and searchform.php pages to the following:

itemprop image automatically added to photos

Font Color changes for Alert shortcode - Some color backgrounds don't look right with black text, but changing the color makes all the text disappear.

Allow Links for Alert shortcode - Same thing as above: many changes don't work in the single brackets shortcode method.

Add Defintion List <dl> formatting - Definition lists... Well, they don't work.

Remove "<p class="no-post-fnd"><?php _e( 'Sorry, no posts were found.' ); ?></p>" from sitemap template. - Many of our sites do not use posts. No point in having the message show up.

Change default CTA text alignment to center or justified - Minor thing, but the text looks neater if it's either justified or centered, but this isn't possible to change with the current setup.

Update featured service box to be able to be removed once its created - Once you create a feature box with all the relevant fields, it doesn't let you remove the state and state abbreviation fields, and therefore wont remove the featured service box if you are just wanting to use a regular service box.

Add facebook id meta tag field in theme options - Add the facebook id meta tag in the theme options.

Put the 404 template inside the content divs - Replace current 404.php with corrected nesting so it displays properly.

Investigate the do slider shortcode php in the header.php and the page-service-template.php - Talked to robert about this, he said we will probably just remove it.

Adding/replacing these stylings in the stylesheet will fix the display issue in firefox and edge for menu item dropdown arrows. .main-navigation #menu-main-navigation li a { display: flex; } - The arrows in Firefox and Edge/Explorer drop below the menu items.

Comment edit in footer.php  -  Change these comments: <!-- Close for .content-section in header.php -->  <!-- Close for #content in header.php --> to read as:  <!-- Close for .content-section in page.php -->   <!-- Close for #content in page.php -->

Possible suggestion http://html5doctor.com/avoiding-common-html5-mistakes/ - From a few things I read, seems like adding <header> and <footer> html5 tags instead of just a div, helps search engines read site structure better. <section> may be a little complicated however

remove itemprop provider on line 59 on page-home-template.php - creating error because the service markup is in the wp content section, so there is no need to have it in the featured service box.

Put temp image backgrounds in child theme instead of parent theme - They will not remain behind the scenes or need to be updated in the parent as they will never remain as the bg image.

Add Optional H1 field between service box div and the actual service boxes

Add yearssince shortcode (prevents us having to update a clients years of existence). - It displays the years since the year you enter in the shortcode

example:

[yearssince year="1950"]

this would display 67

// [yearssince year="1950"]
function years_since($atts,$content=null) {
   extract(shortcode_atts(array(
                'year' => '',
                'now' => date('Y'),
   ), $atts));
   $float_value_of_var = floatval($year);
   $years = $now-$float_value_of_var;
return '<span class="from-year">'. $years .'</span>';
}
add_shortcode('yearssince', 'years_since');

Clean up Menu styles to not be dependant on the ID from menu naming conventions - Stuff that is using this ID #menu-main-navigation needs to be cleaned up.

Fix parent functions.php enqueue style to not break when parent is activated - Line 222 of the parent functions.php is breaking the site on switching to the parent as the active theme.
Accordion Links - Like the alert box. Links break the code.

Remove inc > ._gone.php AND js > ._blank.js - I talked to the developer of the blank theme that we used (https://digwp.com/clubhouse/) he told me that these files may have been from a version control system or something, he said that I could remove them, they're junk.

Added Features:
##############

Made a default, custom shortcode Contact Form 7 - Using “Contact Form 7 - Dynamic Text Extension” plugin, added hidden fields to execute shortcode functions to display dynamic data. It gets a stripped domain(no http, /’s, www., etc). Pulls the branding and 2 new form fields in the theme options page.

Added 2 new theme options - Contact Form 7 - Client Email & Contact Form 7 - BCC Field. These are the new placement spots for the email information needed for Contact Form 7 to work, using the pre-set form, that comes with the template. Standard set up on other forms will work as always.

Moved mobile menu breakpoint CSS to child theme - The code that is used to change the break point for the mobile menu is now in the child theme style.css so no parent files need to be edited.

Cleaned up desktop main menu css for alternating tablet view - Upon clicking the mobile menu then expanding to desktop size/view the menu looked broken. Clean up the styles so in that situation it looked presentable.

Added NEW Shortcodes for pre built info boxes - Made them all open and close shortcodes. This allows HTML elements to be inserted into the content. The old shortcodes have been preserved to not break when updating the parent.

Added CSS Class to shortcode for one second, one third, etc builder blocks - Added css class value to the size container divs shortcodes. Allows to add a custom class to the container.

Added Strong Testimonials plugin CSS - Some default stylings for the review plugin so it’s more “ready” out of the box.

Added View Our Reviews links to social media widget - These have been added to the input and output of the widget with basic stylings. Anchor text and link can be entered.

Added a Proudly Serving widget - Enter a string of cities however you would like and it outputs it into an h3 tag.

Revised default column widths - Set the default of the main body/content elements to the same width so the flow of the document has the same width.

Added Flex styles to the homepage feature boxes - This allows the boxes to remain at the same height regardless of window size. It also keeps the button at the bottom of the boxes regardless of content height.

Added a home page template option for the feature boxes - Can select to have the whole box be a link or just the button itself. Stylings added so both options look the same.

Added analytics click code to header - The click event code was not present in the header CTA section. Added the code so it didn’t need to be entered in the child theme.

Removed Modified Date by Branding from Schema template - The modified date and the following Branding call were removed from the page-service-template.php

Added Google and Bing webmaster tools validation files. - Added the .html files to the root for the default Bing and Google associated email accounts for site verification

Stop WordPress from adding <br /> in Style tags - Occasionally, it's nice to make small adjustments to style elements. But if I add a <style> section and switch to visual, WordPress adds <br /> tags to every line, effectively breaking it and making me manually delete them each time I switch between text and visual

update javascript submenu toggle  -  go to SEO-THEME > seo-script-1.01.js >

replace lines 33-37 if else statement with this:

jQuery(this).parent().children('.sub-menu:first').toggle(200);"
improved upon the submenu toggle function by only having the preventDefault function fire at mobile sizes (screen sizes under 768)	"jQuery(document).ready(function(){
     jQuery('#site-navigation .menu-item-has-children > a').click(function(e){
                if (jQuery(window).width() <= 768) {
          e.preventDefault();
                };
          jQuery(this).parent().children('.sub-menu:first').toggle(20);
     });
});"

The Read More button is broke - I would like to "Read More", but that button is fake.
